General Information

  • Conventions are 1 - 2 day events.

  • Auditions are optional (and usually before awards).

  • Always pre-register because on-site registration is never guaranteed.

  • Convention schedules are available on our website and posted inside and outside of each classroom.

  • If you pre-registered with your studio, you will pick up your wristband and number from your teacher.

  • Independent entries are welcome, wristbands and numbers can be picked up at the registration table.

  • Children under 3 years of age are not admitted into training rooms – NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • All dance bags, coolers, etc., must fit under hotel chairs in the training rooms in compliance.

  • No outside chairs permitted and all chairs in the training rooms must remain against the walls.

  • Masterclasses offered by pro staff in all styles of dance and may change from convention to convention.

Safety Protocols

  • Event waivers are signed by all attendees as part of the registration process

  • Your dancer is your responsibility at all times, please make sure they follow the rules and are where they are supposed to be and on time.

  • Please wash and sanitize your hands often. Hand sanitizer is available in all classroom entrances.

  • Please stay home if you are sick. By attending our event, you are confirming that your dancer is not sick, exposed to experiencing flu or cold like symptoms. Again, if you are sick, please stay home.

  • For the safety of all attendees Integrity Talent Project reserves the right to refuse entry or remove a guest who is not adhering to all safety measures.

Wristbands

  • Wristbands must be worn to enter events and training areas – NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • Wristbands are not to be removed for the duration of the convention/competition.

  • Lost and/or removed wristbands will require full repayment of registration fees.

  • There will be no refunds – NO EXCEPTIONS.

Paid Observers

  • Who Can Observe? Parents or non-dancers only, attending with registered students in the training rooms, may register as Paid Observers.

  • Cannot be – dancers, teachers, studio owners, managers or children under 3 years of age – NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • Wristbands must be worn and not shared or no admittance – NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • Children under 3 years of age are not admitted into ballrooms during dance classes for any reason – NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • Paid observers are to be observers only. If at any time the Integrity Talent Project Staff feels the observer is interfering in the training process or preventing the dancer from be fully focused, the observer will be asked to leave and there are no refunds – NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • Cost: $25

Venue Etiquette

  • Reminder that venues are public areas.

  • All attendees must observe safety practices and quiet times.

  • Dancers should always travel in pairs. Please use the buddy system!

  • Dancers must wear appropriate cover ups outside of classrooms at all times.

  • Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times outside of the training areas. No bare feet!

  • Absolutely no tap shoes outside of the training area.

  • We kindly ask for everyone’s cooperation in respecting the privacy of other hotel guests and all hotel property. Your cooperation will allow Integrity Talent Project to continue to use the finest hotels for our conventions!

Parent Forum

  • For parents of dancers only (no wristband required).

  • An Integrity staff member will discuss your child’s future and dance education, as well as how to get the most out of your competitive season.

  • Attend and participate in a drawing for a chance to win one free convention tuition scholarship for your dancer.

Parent Showcase

  • Available in every city; come watch all the amazing things your performer has learned at convention.

  • The Parent Showcase is always held at the end of convention and open to the public. No admission fee!

Teacher Training & Forum

  • Offered in all cities, this is the time for studio owners and teachers to exchange business ideas, business advice, classroom tips, share triumphs, share struggles, uplift each other, and get free teacher training with one of our ITP staff members.

  • Performers and/or parents are not admitted.

  • Cost: Free

College & Audition Prep

  • College dance team or degree path questions - we have info on both!

  • Take classes and learn tips to crush any audition.

  • Meet industry professionals from NFL/NBA, talent agents, casting directors, college coaches, and more!

How do I redeem my scholarship?

In order to redeem scholarships that have been awarded at previous ITP events, please email a photo 10 days prior to your event and we will adjust your account prior to payment. If you plan to use a scholarship on the day of registration, the scholarship must be present to redeem.

Studio Incentives

  • Teachers and studio owners are always free with studio participation!

Classes Offered

  • Integrity Talent Project offers a variety of dance styles such as ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, tap, musical theater, ballroom, improv, audition prep, and more!

  • All classes are taught by top dance educators, that care about your dancers, and dance education. All instructors are working professional dancers who have made it in the industry.

  • Conventions are usually one day of full classes from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; including awards and showcase.

  • If broken into a two-day event, classes will be held Friday evening 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. NO SUNDAYS!
