Marlon Smith

Hip-hop is where the heart is for Jacksonville native, Marlon "Eezy" Smith. His style is a fusion between smooth grooves, intricate moves, and animation, transforming himself into an ultimate powerhouse performer. 

Marlon has trained in the styles of hip hop, contemporary, and and modern fusion with Kollage Dance Troupe at Florida State University, A Rhythm Nation, Systematic Illite, Cooper Morgan Dance Theatre, and Diamond Squad. He has performed in the Super Bowl 55 Halftime show with The Weekend. He has also danced backup or performed with artists such as Rachel Platten, Niles Rogers/ Cher, and B2K. 

Marlon wears a lot of hats in the community. He is the Co-Director of i-Move U-Move workshop series and Artistic Director of Da Hype Family and Wreckless Dance Crew. He has been a guest choreographer Nick Cannon's Wild 'N' Out Girls, The Jacksonville Shark Attack Dance team, Dancing Destinations at Disney World Orlando and has taken 1st Class Athletics Hip Hop Competition Team to World's Competition in 2015. He is on the Integrity Talent Project dance convention faculty and choreographer for the Jacksonville 95ers Rush and Jr. Rush. His choreography has been presented all over Florida, in Atlanta, South Carolina, and Paris, France. He has worked with art schools, cheer squads, competitive dance teams, background dancers, artists, and dance studios. 

Marlon currently instructs at Jacksonville Center of the Arts (Keiza Rolle) and Britney Boyd Dance Company, (Britney Barber) and The Performers Academy where his goal is to help build the Jacksonville dance community to where the dancers are booked and thriving with opportunities and training.
